HAPPY DAY ORANGE & MUD NUT & HINKELSTEIN

Nachdem sich Bernhard fast (immer noch Schmerzen) von seiner Ringbandverletzung erholt hat, beginnt die richtige Bouldersaison für die Brüder am FUCHSLOCH.
Zum Aufwärmen flasht Bernhard "Happy Day Orange Fb 7c" (Problem mit zwei harten Zügen, einer davon ist ein Sprung zu einem Sloper in 20° überhängendem Gelände). Hermann hatte dieses Problem bereits einige Tage zuvor ausgeforscht und holte sich prompt die zweite Begehung im 2. Versuch. Danach wanderten die Brüder zu einem Problem, an dem sie sich bereits vor einigen Jahren einmal versucht hatten.

"Mud-Nut Fb 8a" a problem with small edges in 30° overhanging terrain, with an uncomfortable swing while hanging on a 1 cm edge with two fingers of each hand only) in my second go.

My second "escape" from my home-bouldering-wall resulted in an ascent of "Hinkelstein Fb 7c" in my second try. The problem got this name because of the shape of the boulder, which is similar to Obelix´-hinkelstein but about 15° overhanging. The crux move is a jump from a bad pinch to a 1,5 m away slopy jug. The problem is to reach the jug in a way, that you can control the very,very big sideways-swing appearing (at the extremest part of swing-controlling, you feel like supermann flying straight ahead). Very cool problem!
